My maximalism hotel dream.

Welcome to Braodwick Soho - My favorite home away from home.

My life is a bit of a wild ride. As is the case with many artists, I have a 'pay-the-bills-job' and that particular operation of my life happens to be that of a cabin attendant on a private jet. Crazy, I know. If I am being honest, I have to say that I kind of ended up here by accident. My original job as a weekend house manager slowly morphed into this little niché world, and I am quite happy to be bopping around the world for this chapter of my life. I am gathering quite a collection of once-in-a-lifetime memories and presented with rare opportunities to explore new places and grow even more smitten with the cities in which pieces of my heart already reside. It is quite a unique and whirlwind lifestyle and I could not have imagined a better or more insane way to fund my bank account. Though the perpetual jet lag and lack of personal life is real!

Soho - A vibrant and artsy neighborhood, nowhere else I would rather stay while adventuring in London.

With excessive travel and quick jaunts from one time zone to the next, I am always on the hunt for exceptional boutique hotels to create a home away from home. I cannot help but crave a bit of normalcy and routine, a way to connect and ground myself when at times, my life is anything but predictable. Therefore, when I find a gem of a hotel, I hold onto it tightly. Which brings me to a magical boutique hotel in the heart of the bustling neighborhood of Soho in one of my favorite cities, London. Oh, Broadwick Soho – it was simply love at first sight. I was first introduced to this maximalism dream when their bar Flute came highly recommended, and after my perfect evening sipping champagne and indulging in a bit of caviar at their (nearly) rooftop bar, I knew I had to experience the hotel as a whole on my next trip to London.

A very leopard-y welcome. I am never leaving.

The entire team at Broadwick Soho went above and beyond in every way possible. Plus their uniform style is beyond impeccable.

Hallways laden with photos, oil paintings and sculptures that beyond tempted me to become an art thief.

Upon arriving, I was swept off my feet by the VIP treatment. With a friendly welcome at a cozy check-in desk surrounded by exceptional art and perfectly tailored leopard sporting staff members, I knew I was in for a glorious time. Settling into my luxurious room, I was impressed by not only the phenomenally curated decor, but the immense attention to detail. It was truly exquisite and one-of-a-kind.

Throughout my stay, no detail was overlooked, from a sweet handwritten welcome note perched upon a brass elephant accompanied by dishes of candies and pastries, to a leopard print bookmark left atop the novel that I had resting on my bedside table... I was simply blown away. As someone who travels a lot, and who has checked into an ever growing list of hotels, I always notice when the extra effort is made. And from my experience, it is the little details that not only make a huge impact, but make all the difference when looking to create a sense of home when home is so very far away.

Whether in London for a staycation, or traveling from afar, I cannot recommend Broadwick Soho more. I will, without a doubt, be checking into this fabulous spot time and time again. From fine dining, chic bar, and cozy nooks to great art and friendly staff, it is truly an exceptional experience. Moral of the story … This hotel is perfectly suited for not only my maximalism tastes, but anyone looking for a wonderfully electric yet thoughtfully cozy stay in the heart of London. Xx

A cozy yet electric room to call home. With ample closet space, a great minibar with a perfect snack selection, plus the sweetest arrival treats, what more could you want? It truly is the little things!

Truly the very best shower I have ever had (water pressure meets rain fall meets chic tile) paired with wonderfully electric toiletries.

Dear Jackie - A perfectly electric (and delicious) fine dining experience below boutique hotel, Broadwick Soho.

Beyond Dear Jackie, there is Bar Jackie, The Nook, Flute - you basically don't even need to leave the hotel. The nook ended up being my favorite space. Perfectly decorated with rich patterns, book laden shelves and a stunning turntable with a wonderful collection of vinyl to peruse… this was my haven, that bit of normalcy that I so desire when traveling. A cozy spot to curl up with a cup of tea and my journal or book. Home-away-from-home craving, satisfied.

The Nook - The perfect place to make like a kitten and curl up fireside.

Special events are often hosted at Flute, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time to get an invite to the 1924 Don Julio event where James Bay was performing. A lovely evening with artists and creatives and of course, plenty of 1942. The Perfect final night to my most recent London stay.

James Bay performing for a Don Julio 1942 event at the dazzling bar, Flute.

Bar Jackie - the perfect way to start (or end) the day.
