July 2026 Vol. Nº32

Summertime laughter seems to linger the longest. The joy that clings to the heat soaked moments of summer feels like a collection of memories in the moment – Somehow, always a familiar shape, a kaleidoscope of colors and souvenirs that seem to dance in the dappled light of July, inviting us to once again, fall in love with the season. It is a comforting soundtrack to a movie that we have watched and adored hundreds of times. Like a perfectly layered echo, the delight of chasing sprinklers in the yard and the promise of an ice cream truck's song are the undertones of today’s score now featuring the tinkling ice of a Rosé a la Piscine and the buzz of a golden hour dinner party. In a subtle way, it still feels the same as it once did. Just different. A reminder that the season is forever designed for chasing euphoria.

Though different from the long lost days of childhood summer breaks, there is still an underlying sense of youthful bliss that exists within this particular slice of the year. From the drawn out days of a summer holiday to the shocking sensation of dipping sunkissed shoulders into refreshing salt water, summer is a season of delight. A chance to remember what it is like to be carefree and childlike, to exist in the moment and feel the sun on your face, even if only for a few lazy afternoons. Xx

Summertime Daydreams

There is no doubt that July was made for evenings in the garden and tropical escapes. From vibrant seaside picnics to all'aperto dinners that transport you to the rolling hills of Italy, this month, the articles of Le Supper Club are made to inspire endless summertime dreaming.

Sparkling Conversation

I have long been a connoisseur of uncommon evenings and exceptional conversation. Drinking in the type of discussion that sparks playful banter, has a bit of shock value and carries the night along with an effortless beauty. There is an undeniable charm to these types of dinner parties – The evenings where time seems to slow down and laughter perfumes the air with an intoxicating allure. A night that feels so effortless it could almost be scripted, a masterclass in the balancing act of playful questions, conversation starters and topics that spark a swirl of passionate dialogue. These are the nights I fall madly in love with. The nights that I long to forever live within. This is the art (and power) of sensational conversation.

Pasta al Limone in the Garden

I have always been enamored with formal dining. The art of it all. The etiquette. The opulence. There is something so beautiful about a perfectly set table, silver polished to a mirrorlike finish, wine and water glasses glittering under the candlelight, and intricate patterns of artisan china spaced out with persicion… It feels like something out of an old romance novel or period film. Something forgotten and antiquated. We simply do not see formal dining much in modern society. And yet, this is one of my happiest places. A place where I feel as though my imagination and heart comes alive, a space where the possibilities are endless. Give me tables that belong in the grande dining halls of French châteaux. Pile pasta high in a silver serving dish. Light the tapered candles. Let the wax drip. This is the drama that I crave – The drama that I require. In a world where elaborate and awe-inspiring moments seem to be ever fading into Ikea aesthetics, I choose to lean into the theatrics of formality. The art of over-the-top. The playfulness of resplendent settings… Life is far more fun this way.

A Tutti Frutti Hawaiian Picnic

Travel feels innately special. A chance to experience something new and exciting, permission to stay out later than usual and sleep in with the promise of room service in the morning, an opportunity to relax a bit or at the very least, melt into a different way of living for a moment. Travel is a built in adventure simply because you are away from home, away from routine, away from the day-to-day. But what if we take a moment to go beyond the list of must-sees cultural experiences and impossible to get into restaurants du jour… What if we make unique moments for ourselves that feel uncommon and intentional? Rooted in simple joys but with an extra bit of ambition? What if we turn our getaways into a collection of unforgettable moments?
