June 2026 Vol. Nº31

There is a perfect window of time just before summer settles in where the world feels most soft and gentle. Like the start of an adventure, the days, light with sunshine feel like a promise – an invitation drenched in dappled light and spritzed with the scent of garden roses. It is a wonderfully romantic time built straight out of a storybook. The perfect setting for daydreams and wishes for the season ahead, a time when imagining seems most natural.

I love the days of late spring, scenes of breezy sundresses paired with cozy sweaters settle in over lively patio dinners, a compromise for the chill that book-ends each day. A reminder that the heat has yet to take its firm hold and yet the buzz of summer is ever humming. These are the days that feel perfectly alive. The days where life feels the most beautiful and simple and I am reminded that a life without June is a life void of romance, softness and imagination.

Inspire and Imagine

The importance of theatre and poetry.

A evening designed around a witty comedy of errors and poetry inspired by Oscar Wilde. This is a dinner party for the artists.

The art of all'aperto

  • Rooftop Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms. August is meant for savoring the flaxen tones of summer and the delicate taste of the season — Little morsels of sunshine, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with finishing salt.

Apéro Aesthetics - Tinned Fish and Pickle Spritzes. The art of Le Apéro. A simple holiday worthy moment meant to inspire and delight. So fundamental and yet so easily overlooked. This little rooftop tableau and no cook menu is here to remind us that by simply whipping up a sexy cocktail and putting together a few snacks you can breathe life into an ordinary evening.

Summer Cheese Plate. Cheese plates, chilled rosé and a great friend. The only ingredients needed to fall in love with rooftop summers.

  • Poolside Caviar. Make your final summer holiday caviar worthy with a sparkling aqua pool framed by the walls of an ancient church and the art of slow living.

A Classic Summertime Picnic. Inspired by the tales in my favorite classic novels, this feminine affair of classic French sandwiches, cheese and wine is the introduction to girlhood summer that we are all craving.

An Edinburgh Picnic. With Edinburgh Castle in the background, a Scotish tweed blanket, some proper fish and chips and a classic novel, traveling just got a whole lot more curated — Jet set with a taste of Le Supper Club.

A Picturesque Picnic Avec Ma Maman. Life should be romanticized. Take a moment to stop and smell the roses, indulge in picking berries that have ripened in the late summer sun, create tangible moments that feel as though they are straight out of a story book… for these are the little things, slowly gathered over the seasons, that add up to a life well lived.

The June edition is one for the romantics and the artists. A pair of articles rooted in the art of an experience. Whether transporting yourself to the French countryside for the afternoon or a night designed to fall in love with the wit of Oscar Wilde, this month, Le Supper Club is all about the joys of living.

A Night of Theatre and Poetry

I dream of a time when creative minds came together for artist saloons. A period where intellectual thought was paired with poetry readings, passionate debates were shared over dinner and pondering avant-garde art was intertwined with late night champagne and cigarettes. I cannot help but feel as though this longing is of something so very familiar and yet could not possibly exist outside of an idea from a past life. Something I maybe once experienced and somehow so deeply crave today. I know my creative thoughts and ideas thrive because of this love that I cannot quite explain. Something never truly held but so deeply understood. The only way to understand it is to believe that I have lived and loved art in many lifetimes before.

Gnocchi Parisienne — A French Escape in Your Backyard

Daydreaming of summering in Europe has begun to take over my afternoons. The sound of cicadas ringing through my mind, an internal monologue of hopeful dinners where sun kissed shoulders and hair wavy with salt from a day spent in the sea tell the type of story that novels open up with. I long for a particular type of heat, the one that is accompanied by a collection of sweating aperol spritz and linen sun dresses, a heat that permeates and invigorates the soul. Summer in Europe is a specific type of season found nowhere else, a slice of living where time seems to drag out perfectly and days melt seamlessly into nights. This is the only type of summer I can fullheartedly lean into. The only version of soaring temperatures that I long for. A summer in the South of France.

It was June, and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside.
